On 01.01.2024, the city of Hof will join the Greater Nuremberg Transport Association (VGN). This makes it part of the largest transport and tariff association in Bavaria. In terms of area, this roughly coincides with the Nuremberg metropolitan region. Above all, membership of the VGN provides a uniform fare system throughout the region as well as an improved service for users. In addition, the VGN's marketing activities provide a good platform for the Hofer Land region.

Another new feature is the 365-Eutro-Ticket for schoolchildren, which can now be purchased thanks to Hof's membership of the VGN.
